Frequently asked questions
How much does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu cost at Beast Jiu-Jitsu Plovdiv?
The club is membership-only. Adults pay €65/month and kids €60/month. Family memberships are €110 (parent + 1 kid) and €145 (parent + 2 kids). All prices are on the Pricing page.
What age can my child start?
There are two kids' groups, ages 5–8 and 9–12, plus adult classes with no upper age limit.
When are the classes?
Kids 5–8 and 9–12: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 17:30–18:20. Adults: Monday to Friday 18:30–19:30, plus morning classes on Tuesday and Thursday 08:00–09:00.
How do I join?
With a free trial week. Sign up by phone or in person, have a short talk with the head instructor, and join your group's classes. Then pick a membership.
Where is the gym?
At 25 Varshava St, inside the Hristo Botev Stadium building, 4017 Plovdiv. The entrance is on the Varshava St side, not the stadium's main gate. Free parking up to 2 hours.
Do I need a gi for my first class?
No. Comfortable sports clothes are enough at the start – your instructor will tell you when and which gi to get.
Can I try a class before joining?
Yes. The trial week is free: sign up by phone or in person, have a short talk with the head instructor, and join as many of your group's classes as you like.
Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu safe for kids and beginners?
Yes. BJJ is learned through control and technique, with no striking. Classes are structured and friendly – no ego, no aggression.
